Welcome to Bed and Breakfast 'La Martellina' - an ancient mill on the Arno dating back to the 13th century and still intact in its charm. It is completely surrounded by nature and located in the vicinity of a small village offering a bar, a newsstand, some shops and a restaurant.

Bed and Breakfast lies less than 5 Km from the center of Florence, Tuscany and can be easily reached by car, by bus or by a bicycle path running along the Arno riverside.

There are ample and well-equipped outdoor spaces (the garden and the terrace give onto the river Arno). Breakfast is offered in the garden. The bedrooms, baths and a separate hall occupy a wing that is completely reserved to guests. In a finely restored setting, the bedrooms are furnished with antiques and are provided with satellite television. A refrigerator is available. Private parking and possibility of bikes chartering.

The Bed and Breakfast is immersed in the landscape of green hills that form the valley of the river Arno. It is a veritable small oasis of tranquillity just outside Florence. From here one can easily visit the entire artistic wealth and heritage of the city of Florence thanks to the excellent connections (by bus, bicycle or car) or dedicate one's time to exploring the environs of Florence, avoiding city traffic.

The bus stop is located 200 meters from the Bed & Breakfast. Florence city bus line (14A) with frequent runs crosses the entire historical center of Florence, reaches the Trade Fair and Exposition Center and ends at the Main Hospital.
